I want to invite you to myĀ free beginner-friendly painting workshop,Ā where we'll explore how color and shape can bring emotion, personality, and narrative to every brushstroke.

In this workshop, you'll learn:
Foundational techniques for painting a stylized face; starting from basic forms and adding in exciting twists with untraditional color choices. Youāll explore how to use a standard reference photo as a launch pad into a surreal portrait.

Iām a painter based in Philadelphia who believes in the power of art to build genuine connection. To me,Ā creating art trains the mind to deeply observeĀ ā toĀ love the world as it isĀ and as it could be. Iāve exhibited nationally at venues like the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Kennedy Center, and have been awarded fellowships at residencies like Vermont Studio Center.
In this course,Ā weāll cover the ins-and-outs of oil paintingĀ and dive into how to create dreamlike color. Iām incredibly excited to work with you on your own creative journey.
